Request for URL Case Insensitivity Support

Hello Nicepage Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently experiencing an issue with the case sensitivity of URLs on my website hosted with Nicepage. I have noticed that my website URLs are case-sensitive, which is causing accessibility issues for visitors who might type the address in a different case format.

For example, the URL "https://lagolakezurich.com/Gallery.html" does not resolve if typed as "https://lagolakezurich.com/gallery.html". I would like to ensure that regardless of how the URL is typed (all lowercase, all uppercase, or mixed case), the correct page is served without resulting in a 404 error.

Could you please advise if there is a way to configure URL case insensitivity through Nicepage’s settings or any other method you recommend? If not, could you consider implementing this feature or suggest an alternative solution to address this issue?

this is a huge problem for me and my company. We are running many websites with you, but if it is not solvable unfortunately we will have to move our restaurant websites to other platforms. Thank you for your assistance

We are resolving this issue, however, it will require some time, for now, you have 2 options.

rename pages in lowercase and republish.
copy the page in lowercase and republish

Sorry for such a half-way solution!

thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, this solution is not optimal, as we know that users write differently: there are those who write all lowercase, those who write all uppercase, those who capitalize the first letter of the page, etc... I would have to create a copy of each page of the website for each possible variation. But this is impossible to manage

I hope this will be solved by you as soon as possible, also because technically it should not be complicated to rewrite the url on the server side

I remain hopeful for a quick resolution of this problem.
